Visit the reunion page, and register to attend. 1969 Graduate Pens Play on Dementia Care Guidry News Service, May 27, 2009: UTMB’s Oma Morey [Class of 1969] has written a play “The Long Journey Home: Caring for a Loved one with Dementia,” that will be performed on June 5 at Levin Hall. “I believe the play will touch anyone who has ever taken care of, known someone that’s taken care of, or anticipates taking care of someone with dementia. "My goal was to write a play that would both entertain and inform health-care students and professionals about the struggles these caregivers experience when they watch their love ones disappear in front of their eyes,” Morey said. Performances are slated for June 5-6 and June 12-13, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at Levin Hall Main Auditorium, UTMB, 1006 Market Street, Galveston , TX.
